Meet the Owner
Iced Out is powered by family, hustle, and one man’s vision — Dawone Marshall.
Originally from Venice, California, Dawone is an IT Technician by day and a hands-on entrepreneur by heart. After discovering Philadelphia-style water ice back in California, he fell in love with the flavor and texture — and when he relocated to Texas in 2021, he realized there was nothing quite like it in DFW. So he decided to change that.
In 2024, Dawone built the Iced Out truck from the ground up, completely self-funded and custom-designed to bring water ice to the people — the right way. Today, the business is proudly run by Dawone, his wife, and their youngest daughter, making Iced Out a true family operation.
For Dawone, this isn’t just about dessert — it’s about building a legacy, one scoop at a time.
